Decent attempt. Your understanding of the topic is fine. However, disinvestment need not mean privatization. Strategic disinvestment is 51% transfer of stake, simple disinvestment might be of minority stake.

Mention some name of PSEs to be disinvested or mention figures from budget to add more impact to your answer. Advantages are fine. Mention some drawbacks too such as under valuation, employment issues, only profit motive of corporates etc

Conclusion is fine. Keep practicing. 🙂

Nice attempt. Introduction is fine, advantages are also fine, you can also mention efficient management by private firms, more money for social welfare etc as arguments in favour.

Also read up a bit on difference between asset monetization and disinvestment. Examples you have given are more of asset monetization. Mention some CPSEs to be disinvested or some figures from the budget about the amount the government is planning to raise.

In drawbacks, try to include more points for ex under valuation of assets, only profit motive of private firms, employment issues etc.
Also, try to mention a conclusion with a balanced view.

      Keep practicing. 🙂

Your content is good. Introduction is fine, you can also mention names of some major PSEs the govt is planning to disinvest. Mention of figures from budget is good.

Advantages part is also fine. In drawbacks, also mention the fear of under valuation of assets while disinvesting, loss of dividends for the government etc.

Conclusion is fine. Keep practicing. 🙂

Decent attempt. Introduction is fine; however you can also mention some name of PSEs to be disinvested or mention figures from budget to add more impact to your answer.

Advantages are written well, most of the points are covered. Drawbacks part needs improvement. There is scope to write more. You can mention points like undervaluation of assets, loss of dividend to government, sole profit motive of the private sector etc.

Conclusion is fine. Keep practicing. 🙂

Introduction is too long. Mention types of disinvestment very briefly. Just explain the concept..that should be fine. Mention some name of PSEs to be disinvested or mention figures from budget, examples are asked in the question.

Advantages are good, use keywords like improving fiscal position of the government, money can be used for social welfare activities which will have a multiplier effect.

Also since question is asking to critically discuss, mention some criticisms of disinvestment policy..employment issues, under valuation of assets, cronyism, loss of dividend for government, sole profit motive of private firms etc.

Conclude with a balanced view. Keep practicing. 🙂
