      Hello

Decent attempt, however some points are missing..mention the importance of speaking up for the collective well being of society..example of Gandhiji is good..elaborate it a bit on how he stood up for the rights of Indians as well as native Africans..you can mention recent example too, people’s silence regarding violence against medicos by patients’ families is not only criminal, it also badly affects the morale and mental health of doctors and support staff. Other points like present day developments are fine. Add how to tackle them.
A brief section on what happens if we don’t speak up on important issues can be written. Successful examples like Arab spring, recent farmer’s protests which led to repeal of bill can be mentioned.
      Keep practicing. 🙂

First, mention some qualities for good societal life and the importance of upholding collective values. Example of Gandhiji is good but mention it a bit later..question is quoting MLK and in the first line itself you are shifting to Gandhiji..seems a bit odd.
Also in the example, instead of ‘blacks’, use native Africans, instead of untouchability use racism.
      Other two parts are good.
Mention some examples from recent times- people’s silence regarding violence against medicos by patients’ families is not only criminal, it also badly affects the morale and mental health of doctors and support staff. Further, silence on issues like mob lynching, hate speech, sexual harassment not only disturbs the peaceful and harmonious social order but also creates fear psychosis and loss of public trust.
Also some successful examples like Arab spring, recent farmer’s protests can be mentioned.
Conclusion is fine, keep practicing. 🙂
