      Good attempt. Content is good, you have used data to substantiate your points, presentation is also fine.
      Introduction is good, you can draw the graph showing decreasing spending in R&D for better impact.
      Importance part is also well written, further need to increase linkage between industry, academia and public sector can be mentioned, briefly mention can also be made of taking a lead in sunrise industries like AI, geospatial systems and drones, semiconductors, space, genomics and pharmaceuticals, green energy etc
      Suggestions are fine, increasing state spending to 2% of GDP should be mentioned first, institutional measures like strengthening SERB, establishment of NRF as suggested in NEP.
      Conclusion is fine.
