  • In the intro, mention the increasing frequencies of extreme weather events due to climate change in India such as heat waves and floods.
  • In the body, mention the need to adopt a two part approach in the form of adaptation and mitigation measures. In the measures mention resilience in agriculture, dealing with flood and storms by adopting design changes in building houses, expansion of forest cover, increasing the financing to disaster management etc.
  • Conclude by mentioning the need to focus on public awareness about climate change and the role played by man in it.

      Hello

Introduction is decent, you can add one line about increasing heatwaves and floods.
In next part, you have broadly touched upon the points.. Some elaboration can be done along with mentioning some examples, for example, you can talk about glacial lake outburst floods, heating up of ocean on the Western coast leading to increasing number of cyclones, deforestation-induced landslides, uneven pattern of rainfall etc
Next part can be divided into two parts- mitigation measures and adaptation measures, points can be divided accordingly.. It is good to use some climate related keywords.. It shows the depth of knowledge.. Also gives coherence to the answer. In adaptation you can talk about resilience in agriculture, dealing with flood and storms by adopting design changes in building houses, expansion of forest cover whereas mitigation could include rehabilitation and resettlement measures etc. Points such as use of renewables, EWS are also good.
      Conclusion is fine.
      Keep practicing. 🙂
