  •  In the intro, mention rapid advances made in solar power and reduction in the cost.
  • In the body, mention various technologies used such as first-generation mono-crystalline and multi-crystalline silicon wafers, bifacial solar cells, nanocrystal and dye-sensitised solar cells, Graphene-quantum dots etc.
  • Conclude by mentioning the need for policy support to increase the adoption and research in the field.

Nice answer, covered most of the points. Intro-conclusion is good, in each point you can mention advantage of that technology separately for better visibility, otherwise the answer is fine. No need for much changes. Keep practicing. 🙂

Content is good, mention first, second, third generation earlier only. For example, when you write about silicon that is only 1st gen, you can mention mono crystalline vs multi crystalline panels, bifacial solar cells as 1st gen there itself, thin film technologies is classified as 2nd gen etc. Otherwise answer gets unnecessarily long.

After mentioning technologies, you can conclude by mentioning some sort of way forward for example the need for policy support to increase the adoption and research in the field.

      Keep practicing. 🙂

Introduction has become a bit broad, this is a S&T question, so focus on solar cells only, you can mention some of its advantages or limit to India’s rapid progress in solar tech.

In the body, you have mentioned good points, however you have missed out on some new technologies such as third generation perovskite which has high potential to replace silicon, use of graphene quantum dots etc. Also if you can mention 1-2 advantages of each type it will be good.

Conclusion is fine. Keep practicing. 🙂

Decent answer, introduction is very broad. 450 GW is of total renewable energy, the question is about solar cells, you can mention some of its advantages or only limit to India’s rapid progress in solar tech.

Types of technologies are mentioned well, you have missed 3rd gen perovskite which has the potential to replace silicon based cells, include that.

Conclusion is fine, keep practicing. 🙂

      Nandhini,

Very good answer. Not much change required, intro-conclusion is good. In the body also, you have covered most of the technologies and their advantages.

You are writing well, keep it up. 🙂
