In the intro, mention the figures about custody related deaths in India.
In the body, mention the problems such as custodial torture, overcrowding, delayed medical attention, unhygienic conditions and malnutrition that exist in all Indian prisons. In the suggestions, mention making certain deprivations as extrajudicial torture and making it an offence, comprehensive law to deal with the issue, increasing expenditure on improving the infrastructure, providing training etc.
Conclude by mentioning that extra-judicial torture and killing are the worst forms of crime and must be dealt with seriously.

  Regarding your doubt-
  See there is no magic pill. Keep practicing and revising topics. What happens is by the time you write mains, you come across same topics 7-8 times at least. So,many things are retained by the brain, even if you don’t remember data, points are there in memory. So start writing them and move on.
  There will be at max 3-4 questions which might be totally out of the box, you will need to think a bit for them, everyone does that. Rest 16-17 questions you will certainly encounter in some way or the other while preparing. One thing you can do is after reading a topic frame a question yourself in your mind and try remembering or jotting down points which you think will be enough for a 250 word answer. Don’t write full answer, just 4-5 points which you think you will be able to expand upon.
