Decent attempt, but you have mixed many things in the answer. For e.g. Babri demolition, Godhra riots are more of an example of communalism.
      Introduction is fine.
After that write 2 sections- mentioning some negative consequences and some positive ones with examples.
In negatives you can mention examples like Khalistan movement, son of the soil theory (agitation against Non-Maharashtrians by ShivSena), linguistic movements such as against Hindi imposition in South, fight for resources(sense of relative and economic deprivation for e.g. movements in north-east etc), conflicts due to assertion of tribal rights(Tripura).
Modernization and politics are also good causes that you have written, try to include some of the above points too.
Positives that you have mentioned are quite generic, more of a way forward.
Since the question asks for ‘critical’ discussion, you need to oppose the statement given with some positive examples.. For e.g. you can mention formation of tribal councils, environmental movements such as Chipko, promotes competition among regions furthering development etc
After that you can write a brief way forward talking about education, modernization, national unity etc
      Conclusion is good.
      Keep practicing. 🙂

      Please mention reference ID.
The structure of your answer is good, you have mentioned some good points too.
In introduction, first you can briefly define regionalism.
Negatives mentioned are good, examples are also fine, linguistic movements such as against Hindi imposition in South can be mentioned too. You can also write about fight for resources(sense of relative and economic deprivation for e.g. movements in north-east- Bodos ve Bengali Muslims in Assam, Greater Nagalim etc), conflicts due to assertion of tribal rights(Tripura).
In next part, you can further mention about social changes brought about by regional movements (self-respect movement), environmental dimension by mentioning movements like Chipko can be talked about too. Example of tribal council is good.
Way forward is fine, try to write a concluding statement.
      Keep practicing. 🙂
