      Decent attempt.
      Introduction is good.
Next part about Japanese path has also been well conveyed..ending could be a bit better..you can substantiate the last statement about becoming a superpower by giving some examples like (established colonial empires in Taiwan (1895) and Korea (1910). It defeated China in 1894, and Russia in 1905.). Next, you could also mention the 2nd WW, defeat at the hands of Anglo-American forces and again re-emergence as global economic power.
In next part about China, you can start with the first Opium war in 1839-42 which undermined the ruling Qing dynasty. The period between 1911-1949 which was marked by the Rise of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and civil war with Kuomintang which resulted in the eventual victory of the communists led by Mao in 1949 should also be mentioned.
Next part about Chinese growth story is fine. Events like Cultural revolution, Great Leap Forward etc could find a mention.
Basically, you have to show the DIFFERENT paths too as asked in the question, one more aligned to capitalism and the other to communism..so you have to mention the related facets.
      Conclusion is fine.
      Keep practicing. 🙂
