      Shubhashree,

Your Introduction is fine but you need to mention JP movement and so called ‘internal disturbance’ being used as a premise by the then PM for imposing Emergency.

Hardships section is written fine but here you need to add more points like over-enthusiasm about population control led to forced sterilisation, police brutality , various cases of custodial death, large scale displacement of the people especially poor- demolitions in Turkman Gate area of Delhi, various changes brought into the Constitution, quote Shah commission- nearly 1.11 lakh people arrested under preventing detention

In impacts you have Written points Related to judiciary only. Here diversify your arguments add points like –
one lesson of emergency is that it is extremely difficult to do away with the democracy in India as the democratic processes were seized during the emergency however it is noteworthy that normal democratic functioning resumed within a short span of time,

Ambiguity regarding Emergency provisions in the Constitution rectified,
Emergency made people more aware of the value of civil rights,
      Strength the political opposition etc.
These Aspects made Indian democracy more resistant to dictatorship.

      Conclusion is fine.
You are the most consistent Aspirant who wrote almost every day. I admire your dedication. Keep Practicing 🙂

      Utkarsha,

You have Written a good answer overall. Content is good.

However you need to improve arrangements of your arguments. You must write all related points at one place. You can use headings for clubbing them. For example points Related to press can be Written under one headings Suppression of free Press.

To make your answer more relatable to the question you must use headings as close to the question as possible.
You can write lesson learnt and
About your doubt see 10-20 words more or less the limit is fine. Your answer are fine in this regard. Suggestion about arrangements of arguments will further help you in this regard.

      Keep Practicing 🙂

      Ankita,

Your Introduction is fine but you need to concise it. Whole write up on first page need to be summarised as you Introduction.

Next you had to write the high handed measures taken during the time of Emergency write points like arrest of opposition political leaders without trial, suspension of fundamental rights including article 32, over-enthusiasm about population control led to forced sterilisation, police brutality , various cases of custodial death, large scale displacement of the people especially poor- demolitions in Turkman Gate area of Delhi, various changes brought into the Constitution, quote Shah commission- nearly 1.11 lakh people arrested under preventing detention

The you need to write post Emergency lessons, changes, actions that made India more resistant to dictatorship-
one lesson of emergency is that it is extremely difficult to do away with the democracy in India as the democratic processes were seized during the emergency however it is noteworthy that normal democratic functioning resumed within a short span of time,
Made Judiciary more responsive towards fundamental rights as evidenced by judgements like Keshvanand Bharati case, Minerva Mills Case etc.,
Ambiguity regarding Emergency provisions in the Constitution rectified,
Emergency made people more aware of the value of civil rights,
      Strength the political opposition etc.

      Conclusion also need to modify.

Stay focused on the demand of the question.
      Keep Practicing 🙂
