Introduction is fine. After that, mention some examples of various mineral resources found in eastern India.
Reasons mentioned are fine, some points can be added such as impact of Naxalism, uneven topography, high TFR in some states.. Small and marginal land holdings.
Other points are fine.
Remedial measures are fine, try to incorporate some of the recent government initiatives for development of eastern region to make the answer more comprehensive.

Causes are also good, mention some social causes too
Although points related to tribal underdevelopment are good, don’t make the answer only about it.. Especially sparse population can be avoided as some eastern states are densely populated, you can mention high TFR.. Lower literacy, Lack of education and health services etc
Other points are good.
Remedial measures are good, try to incorporate some recent government schemes.
Conclusion is fine.

Question is about total eastern region, not just North-Eastern. Include reasons for underdevelopment of states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha etc
First, to substantiate the first statement mention examples of various mineral reserves found in these states. Then move on to the reasons.
Reasons mentioned are fine, include socio-economic factors too.. For example high TFR in some of the eastern states, poor literacy,education and health services, lack of infra, low skill development, small and marginal land holdings, issue of Naxalism etc
Way forward is fine, try to incorporate some of the recent government initiatives also.
Conclusion can be improved.
