You have written well for a beginner. We encourage you to write more and more answers to get better.

Introduction is fine, however you can also simply define a mountain range to begin with- sequential chain of mountains with similarity in alignment.

In next part, your content is fine.. You have good understanding… But presentation can be improved a bit.
Try to draw a rough world map showing major mountain ranges, that will be impressive.
After that, you can pick 4-5 mountain ranges and write weather conditions influenced by each one of them separately.
Otherwise, your answer is getting more focused on Himalayas only.
Also alignement part is missing.. For example.. Mention that Himalayas is from West to east in an arc shaped manner, Atlas runs from South West to North east separating Mediterranean from Sahara desert, Alps from West to east etc
Points regarding temperature, rainshadow area formation etc are good. Use of diagram is also good.
You have missed some points like influence of these ranges on local winds.. Rockies play an important role in formation of Chinook winds, Alps’ role in formation of Fohn, Mistral etc
Role of Himalayas in formation of Gobi and Taklamakan desert can be also mentioned.
Cyclone formation can be avoided as it is mainly an oceanic impact.
      Conclusion is fine.
Overall decent answer, pick each mountain range and write 2-3 points for each.. That will be a better way to approach this answer.
      Keep writing.
Also please mention reference ID in your further answers. 🙂

      Good attempt.

Your content is good, you have covered many things in the answer.
Introduction is fine, after that if you can draw a rough world map showing major mountain ranges of the world, it will be even better.
The body of the answer is nice. You can improve upon the presentation a bit.
Pointwise format can be used to cover more points such as formation of rainshadow areas, effects on temperature etc. In Himalayas, you can also mention the formation of deserts in its north(Gobi, Taklamakan etc)
Other points are fine, conclusion is good.
      Keep writing. 🙂
