Work on more dimensions in your 1st part.
You covered some good points, especially in the 1st subheading but write about high transaction cost, linking with inflation, financial illiteracy etc as well.
The discussion in the issue with PDS needs more and better coverage like coverage, portability of the scheme, corruption, skewed cropping pattern etc.
In the intro, mention the need or DBT in recent times and why it is an important fintech intervention.
Good way forwards. Try to suggest reforms in both PDS as well as DBT in order to have a better balance there.
You understood the demand of the question really well but content let you down here.

In the intro, mention why DBT makes an important policy intervention in the coming years.
The 1st part of the answer is well managed. But in PDS, you missed one key element: Leakage and Wastage of foodgrains.
In the way forward, mention points for reforms in DBT as well. Right now, they are only focusing on PDS reforms.
The overall structure of the answer is quite good.
      Decent presentation.

      A very good answer Aastha.
You ave covered all the necessary arguments while sticking to the basic demand of the question.
Right from start till end, you have been keeping the demand in the middle and apart from a missing conclusion here, there is nothing wrong with your attempt.
A fine balance between all parts of your discussion and decent way forward.
Well done and keep it up.
      Keep writing.

In the intro, briefly discuss how there have been talks or demands of switching to DBT in recent times and why DBT can be a game-changer. It should be either done in the intro like Aastha did or you can make a small flowchart.
The rest of the answer is fine but you could have explored better points in the discussion regarding deficiency in the PDS system.
No need for that flowchart in the start when you have already covered those points in the subsequent discussion.
No need to use both formats (points as well as the flowchart) in the same discussion
      Good way forwards.
The way forward are really good.
