As an aspirant, we all wait for that imaginary moment when we are done with all the revision and have this tendency to delay answer writing.
The bitter truth is that the moment when you are done with all your revision and ready for answer writing will never come. You should remember that the confidence of writing good answers comes only by writing more and more answers. Some things are best learnt by doing only and learn from your mistakes. Take swimming in this case. You will only learn when you are in a pool and not by watching tutorial videos or watching others swim.
A test series gives you the opportunity to test yourself and also helps you in improving your writing.
Our previous year FLTs have exceptional hit ratios. Go through the posts below to understand what we are talking about –

Many of the mains and Interview candidates of 2018 failed to get over the line in Prelims 2019. The chief reason was overconfidence –
“I’ve figured out UPSC’s pattern”.
“I can use compilations to keep up with Current Affairs”
“I can score well without practicing with a Test Series”
The result was mayhem on the D-Day and then the blame game started. UPSC used confusing language, questions were wrong, obscure sources etc.
The bottom line is that some people still managed to remain unfazed by changes and cleared prelims again. What did they do differently? Simply put, they were more prepared.
How can you do that? By following these 5 simple steps –

We’ve been posed with this question a lot of times. Though the differences are clear, we understand that new students would want some more clarity.
Mains Essential Program is our UPSC Mains Focused program. Its format is exactly the same as UPSC Mains papers. There are 20 questions to be solved in 2 hours’ time. A lot of time is spent on perfecting the question paper to ensure maximum questions are repeated in the actual exam and on sample solutions with value-added points. Reviews are more elaborate and more time is spent on each answer copy.
The Daily Answer Writing Program Questions are uploaded on a daily basis. By attempting these questions, you get to create your own notes on important topics. These notes will help you immensely when your exams are close. At the same time, the reviews will help you build a solid foundation ensuring your preparedness.

Economic survey and Union budget are the two most important economic documents of the government. They outline the vision for the Indian economy, challenges faced, and mitigating strategies.
Keeping in mind that these two documents are technical in nature and a large number of students find it difficult to understand.
We at Civils daily are launching a program on economic survey and budget under the mentorship of Himanshu Arora sir, to give students a detailed understanding of survey and budget, key issues, concept, technical ideas discussed in it. The course is designed for both students who have no background in economics and have some familiarity with economics. It will go beyond the survey and budget to make students understand the static theories behind the idea presented in the survey.
The first lecture on economic survey covers the key highlights, approaches, ideas, and issues discussed in the entire survey documents. The lecture explains the idea of nudge economics, trickle-down economic development, export-led growth strategy followed by China and other Asian economies and the key challenges faced by the Indian economy as highlighted in the survey.
