      Decent knowledge but you have digressed a bit from the demand of the question.
      Introduction is fine.
      Next, you have to show various forms of identity that have been seen in Indian electoral process, you can mention examples there only. Impact is not asked per se.
      In various forms of identity, other than caste-based and religious identity and parties, you can talk about ethnic and cultural identities, identities based on similar profession, emergence of women voters etc
      Next, you can mention some pros and cons which are fine.
      Conclusion is also good.
