Introduction is good, nice that you have mentioned IMD definition.
Formation is not required here, you can explain in detail the formation in Himalayan region in the later part.
Effects mentioned are fine, urban floods (Mumbai, 2005); soil erosion and leaching etc could also be mentioned.
Next part could be better, you have just mentioned some of the factors such as lofty peaks.. winds etc. You can explain the mechanism involved- orographic lift(rapid convective lifting of moist air mass under steep orographic conditions results in the formation of cumulonimbus clouds which cause heavy rain, thunder & lightning); further absence of upper air movement in this region prevents dissipation and water concentration in the clouds keep on increasing. Diagram showing this would be better.
Climate change can also be mentioned here as factors as rate of warming in this region is higher than average and this high temperature can lead to increased moisture levels which can then manifest as cloudbursts.
Conclusion is fine.

Intro is fine, it would be nice if you could mention the IMD definition- more than 100 mm rainfall in the span of an hour over an area of 20-30 sq km. Next mechanism has been mentioned, but this could be done at one place when you talk about Himalayan region.

Next pary is fine too, good use of diagram.
Way forward is decent, try to give as conclusion after that.
