Try to avoid writing answers like an essay, what happens is you tend to focus on one issue which occupies much space and miss out on other points making the answer look uni-dimensional. For e.g. here you have talked in detail on temple entry issue but other points are missing.
Intro-body-conclusion format is good in most cases.
Give a brief intro, here you can just define menstruation and mention the notion of purity-pollution attached to it.
Next, pick subheadings from question itself and try to write points for each, here you can divide the question in 2 parts- Exclusion due to taboos attached to menstruation and Suggestions.
