Decent attempt. Intro is fine, after that you have mentioned existing laws- that is also fine, can keep it a bit concise.
Mention drawbacks of laws specifically if you can, for example Environment (Protection) Act is grossly inadequate to deal with violations on climate- Clause 24 of the Act, “Effect of Other Laws”, states that if an offence is committed under the EPA or any other law, the person will be punished under the other law (for example, Code of Criminal Procedure). This makes the EPA subordinate to every other law.
      Other points are fine.
After that give some suggestions too about a new integrated climate law- you can talk about establishing a climate commission, legally enforceable climate action plan etc
      Conclusion is fine.
      Keep writing. 🙂

      Nandhini,

Nice answer. Your answer is factually rich. In intro, you can begin with recent COP26 announcements by Modi, which will link the answer to current affairs.

Rest of the answer is fine, presentation is good too.

Also, try to upload the scanned image of the answer or at least crop the pic before uploading.

      Keep writing. 🙂

Nice answer, intro is fine. After that, drawbacks mentioned in the 2nd part are also good. However, also mention some positives of the acts too. The question is asking to assess, so you need to look at both sides of the argument. You can talk about institutions like NGT, CPCB etc

Next part is fine. Suggestions are good, conclusion is also fine.
      Keep writing. 🙂
