  • In the intro, define anti-microbial resistance.
  • In the body, discuss why growing resistance could turn into a health crisis. Next discuss the factors that are responsible for increasing anti-microbial resistance like farming, discharge of household effluents, lack of information among patients, excessive use etc. In the steps to be taken mention effluent treatment from the pharmaceutical plants, proper water treatment, proper use of medicine by patients, increasing the awareness etc.
  • Conclude by mentioning the need to check the growing anti-microbial resistance to avert the looming health crisis.
