      Hi Sandesh,
      Article 300A which states that “No person shall be deprived of his property save by authority of law” which is in other words right to property. So, we can say that the right to property is a constitutional right.

   Religious freedom is restricted by public welfare?

      Hi Hitesh,
      Article 25 (2)b of the Constitutions reads –
      “Nothing in this article shall affect the operation of any existing law or prevent the State from making any law-
      (b) providing for social welfare and reform…..”
      So, the plain reading of these lines suggests that the State is not restricted by religious freedom under Article 25 (1) if it wants to legislate for social welfare.
